The
Bedford Branch of RAFA has maintained close links with
the Royal Air Force (especially RAF Henlow and, prior
to its recent de-commissioning, RAF Cardington) and other
ex-service organisations, successive Mayors of Bedford,
local ATC Units (particularly Bedford, Oakley and Cranfield
Squadrons), local and public authorities and other voluntary
organisations, charities and groups, and the Bedford Community
in general.
