URGENTLY REQUIRED (AFTER CHRISTMAS)
A WINGS APPEAL COORDINATOR

AFTER TWO GREAT FUND RAISING YEARS, OUR WINGS APPEAL COORDINATOR, MAGGIE HUDSON, IS NOW ORGANISING EVENTS FOR THE RHODESIAN ARMY/AIRFORCE'S 50th ANNIVERSARY (IN 2011)
(MANY EVENTS OF WHICH WILL INVOLVE THE BRANCH CLUB)

CAN YOU TAKE OVER HER ROLE AS WINGS
APPEAL COORDINATOR?

CURRENT COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE ALREADY GIVING GREAT SUPPORT AND WILL GIVE THE NEW COORDINATOR EVERY ASSISTANCE IN THIS
INVALUABLE TASK. SO WHY NOT VOLUNTEER?

LEZ FISHMAN BRANCH CHAIRMAN

2010 collection

It is with much thanks and hard work that the branch with the help of a number of collectors, the ATC and RAF Henlow under the management of Maggie Hudson can boast of achieving the target of £10,000. This figure does not include an addition £1200 which RAF Henlow has collected on our behalf of which we are awaiting confirmation.

This has to be a huge thank you to Maggie all the helpers and especially those who donated.

The pictures show a few of the ATC in Bedford during wings Saturday, other squadrons were also out collecting in Sandy Biggleswade and at Cranfield.

Plans are already a foot for next years collecting with a view to increasing this figure drastically with hopefully collections at Shuttleworth air shows and of course the river festival.

The branch now hopes to spread a little cheer by utilising funds for those in need locally.

The Chairman wishes to thank everyone once again for a magnificent effort.

STOP PRESS

Maggie Hudson has now received the news that with RAF Henlow's contribution your Bedford Branch collected over £12,000.

A grateful thanks to one and all for their contributions.

It has to be said that unless someone comes forward to replace Maggie there could very little collected in 2011.
